Wet electrostatic precipitator The main working principle of the electrostatic precipitator is to separate the electrode from the corona area, spray water into the corona area, form a powerful split, and then the charged electrode is further atomized. The electric field acts, and the charged water mist collides, intercepts, condenses, and adsorbs the dust particles together. Driven by the electric field force, the dust particles are finally intercepted as a dust collection rod group, and the water forms a continuous water film on the dust collector, The trapped dust is washed into the ash hopper and discharged with water.
Wet electrostatic precipitator Operating principle
Electrostatic precipitator The dedusting process can be divided into four stages: gas ionization; Dust obtains ions and charges; The charged dust moves towards the electrode; Clean the dust on the electrode.
The objects of wet electrostatic precipitation are dust and fog drops. However, due to the different physical characteristics of fog droplets and dust, their working principles are also different. In principle, the existence of water droplets first affects the discharge of electrodes. In order to form emitting ions, the free electrons in the metal electrode must obtain enough energy to overcome the ionization energy and cross the surface barrier to become emitting electrons. Adding water to the electrode surface is an effective measure to reduce the potential barrier on the electrode surface. After the metal surface is covered with water, the original "metal air" interface is divided into "metal water" interface and "water air" interface, and the potential barriers of the latter two interfaces are much lower than the former. In this way, after the metal surface is covered with water, the original high barrier is decomposed into two low barriers, which greatly weakens the resistance of the surface barrier to free electrons and makes electrons easy to be emitted. In addition, under the action of electric field, various impurity ions in water can easily cross the surface barrier and become emission ions. All these have changed the effect of electrode discharge, making it possible to generate corona discharge under low voltage. Secondly, due to the existence of water droplets, the resistance of water is relatively small. After the combination of water droplets and dust, the specific resistance of dust with high specific electricity will be reduced, so the working state of wet electrostatic precipitation will be more stable. In addition, since the wet electrostatic precipitator is washed with water and has no vibration device, there will be no secondary dust removal.
